Rules of Engagement

Taught by: Dr. Judith Wright and Dr. Bob Wright

Let’s face it—everybody fights. Spouses fight, children fight with parents, employees fight with bosses. But these fights don’t have to be nasty and unproductive. In fact, healthy conflict can often result in more connection, deeper understanding, and stronger relationships.

Of course that sounds great, but how do you move from unproductive, unhealthy conflict to something that leaves everyone satisfied and closer than before? This series will provide you with 7 "rules" -- a framework through which you can approach conflict in a new way.

The Rules of Engagement come from Dr. Bob Wright and Dr. Judith Wright's book, The Heart of the Fight: A Couple's Guide to 15 Common Fights, What They Really Mean, and How They Can Bring You Closer. They are a powerful tool that you can start applying today. Join Dr. Judith Wright for this series and watch how your conflicts change from spinning, fruitless fights to purposeful, transformative ones!

This course was created in collaboration with our educational partner in China, WanMen.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT
Courses at the Wright Foundation

My husband and I work very hard continuing to nurture a meaningful relationship. As two high powered executives with 2 young children, it is so easy to get lost in the day to day routine of life. The workshops have helped us to not only stay connected while we are apart, but to also help us deepen our relationships with each other.

- Sanjida C

"I went from someone who was never really fully able to express myself to being able to open up and share what I was thinking in my relationships. I am now able to really go for what I want in life and be much more satisfied than I was before. I am definitely transformed and so has my relationship with my wife."

- Cory C

"The relationship skills I have learned in these courses have been invaluable. From being a lone ranger in my design work, I went on to start my own company and then partner in business with my husband. We use these skills every day. They are priceless."

- Jen M
